Thank you for your interest in job opportunities offered by IMI JU. The JU uses two main categories of staff, temporary agents and contract agents. The JU is reaching its full staffing requirements, but vacancies can become available in the context of normal staff turnover. The selection procedures governing staff selections are as follows:
Temporary Agent positions - recruitment is always done via external selection procedures organized by the JU and all vacancies are published on our website. Please regularly consult this section for open vacancies and selections. When applying for vacant positions, please read the applicants' instructions carefully. When no vacancies are published, the JU will not treat any spontaneous applications for future positions.
Contract Agent positions - Contract agent recruitment is done on the basis of interviews with a selection panel. The JU may invite to interviews those candidates who have already successfully passed an EPSO selection test for the relevant function group (with valid status in the EPSO data base) and whose profile corresponds to the requirements of the vacant post.
When NO suitable candidates are available in the EPSO database, IMI JU can organize testing in order to create its own reserve list. In these cases, candidates will be invited for interview from the list according to the requirements of the vacant position.
Interim positions are sometimes available in order to assure the continuity of operations (replacing staff on long-term absences/employing additional resources during periods of peak workload), the IMI JU recruits staff on short-term contracts through approved temporary employment agencies.
If you wish to send us a spontaneous application for a future contract agent position, your CV will be kept in a database for 6 months, as from the date of receipt. When sending us your spontaneous application, please always mention your EPSO reference number and EPSO profile(s).
